"Minority Report" actress Meagan Good was brought to tears at a church event on Valentine’s Day alongside her husband DeVon Franklin.

During the event, which featured Good and Franklin promoting their book “The Wait,” an audience member questioned Good about attire.

“Praise the Lord,” the audience member said as she began her rant. “You are beautiful. I’m gonna say something to you… No, no, no, no, this is not offensive, but I was at the grocery store, and I looked at a newsstand, and I saw you, and you had your breasts showing.”

The woman said as a result she nearly didn’t attend the event.

“So I wasn’t going to come here, but the Lord brought me here to see you,” she said. “You have to make sure what you say and what you do match up. So we [are going to] cover up, right?”

Before Good could reply, her preacher husband stepped in.

“Wait a minute… no, no that is not what we are here for,” he said sternly. “She is not going to cover up… She will wear what she wants to wear in the name of Jesus. Amen. Yes she will.”

Franklin raised his voice as he responded. “God Bless you… but she has been as Christian as she has been-- that she is right now-- when she has worn whatever she wants to wear.”

He diffused the tension and directed the attention to his strong reaction.

“Ya’ll about to see a whole other Devon… remember I am from Oakland, now,” he said laughing.

He then kissed his wife, who was seen wiping away tears.

Following the event, Good had only positive things to say and she praised the turn out and the viewership the live streamed video of the event garnered.
